It is designed for zeroing with a 100-meter reticle. The width of the chevron at the base is 5.53 MOA, which equals 19 inches at 300 meters. This allows you to estimate the range for silhouette targets.
The reticle is dual illuminated (fiber optic provides daytime illumination, while tritium illuminates the reticle at night). The reticle is calibrated for 5.56 (.223 caliber) rifles at distances up to 800 meters.
