Extrema Ratio MF1 BC folding knife | Black

Extrema Ratio is known not only for its fixed-blade knives, but also for its folding knives. One of the most prominent representatives of folding tactical knives from Extrema Ratio is the MF line. This abbreviation stands for Medium Folder, which indicates the main characteristic of the line - a medium-sized folding knife. The versatile, balanced and robust design of the MF knife makes it an indispensable tool for tactical tasks, everyday carry or urban use.
The wide Drop Point blade gives the knife excellent stabbing and cutting properties, and the cobalt-alloyed Böhler N690 steel with a hardness of 58 HRC can withstand intense loads, including transverse loads. The Black Oxide MIL-C-13924 blade finish provides excellent corrosion protection and can be varied depending on the model: pure black or laser engraved with camouflage stripes. For comfort and confidence during use, the butt has a series of massive notches for thumb resistance. It can be brought to the working position with both the left and right hand using a double-sided cotter pin. It is fixed in the open position with a reliable Liner Lock. Extrema Ratio is concerned about your safety, and to prevent accidental opening, a latch has been installed that securely locks the blade in the open or closed position. Also, the MF line has received an innovation - an adjusting axial screw, thanks to which you can adjust the smoothness of the blade exit.
The handle linings are made of Anticorodal aluminum alloy of the highest degree of purification. This material is incredibly resistant to corrosion, extremely durable and will withstand the toughest work. The ergonomic shape of the handle, developed using the unique ERMH (Extrema Ratio Multipurpose Handle) technology based on the principles of kinesiology, fits comfortably in the hand. There is also a large underfinger recess for a reverse grip. A double-sided deep clip is installed for easy carrying.
Everything mentioned above about the MF line also applies to the MF1 model. The MF1 BC ("Belt Cutter") variant is equipped with a belt cutter with an easily replaceable blade built into the handle. The MF1 BC also has a built-in screwdriver for adjusting the optics of firearms.
