The LO version of this proven shoe classic cuts no corners, as evidenced by its robust outsole and durable nubuck leather with GORE-TEX waterproof membrane. And the optimized cushioning also makes this wonder of a great fit the perfect companion for everyday activity or hiking over unassuming terrain.
● Specially designed toe and heel design of the outsole ensures a high level of comfort during climbs and descents;
● Intermediate midsole made of 100% polyurethane (PU). Polyurethane (PU) is a soft plastic that has very good cushioning properties and is therefore commonly used in midsole applications. The use of PU makes the outsole lightweight and functionally flexible;
● Insole made of 40% polyethylene / 15% fabric and 45% felt. Polyethylene is used primarily to create comfort and insulation of the foot from below. Natural and synthetic fabrics contribute to optimal warming and moisture wicking due to their specific characteristics. Due to their structure, they are smooth and make the sneaker extremely comfortable. Felt is a textile material characterized by high elasticity and insulating properties. Thanks to this, it is used, in particular, as an insulating partition;
● Nubuck upper material. Nubuck is a full-grain leather that is lightly sanded to give it a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather is particularly durable, strong and has open pores. Depending on the desired look, the suede can be left untreated during the production process or oiled or waxed;
● GORE-TEX membrane. Shoes with GORE-TEX membrane reliably protect against water, wind and have breathable properties;
● A special frame design known as LOWA MONOWRAP® provides stability;
● The two-layer midsole is directly injected into the shoe. The layers include carefully coordinated degrees of stiffness to create the best possible comfort;
● LOWA DynaPU insole. Provides noticeable cushioning with every step;
● To create optimal cushioning and the best possible comfort, the outsole of LOWA multifunctional shoes is made by direct injection. A sophisticated injection process attaches the non-slip upper layer directly to the outsole. This method results in shoes with optimal cushioning and exceptional lightness.
