The TOR-D is a lightweight version of the TOR ballistic helmet. The shape of the helmet with special side cutouts creates additional convenience for working with active headphones and radio headsets.
By its design and tactical and technical characteristics our products completely correspond to the best in its class in the world, which is confirmed by the results of tests not only in Ukrainian, but also in ballistic laboratories in Europe and the USA, such as the Laboratory of Institute of Safety Technologies "Moratex" (Lodz, Poland) and the Laboratory "Beschussamt Mellrichstadt" (Melrichstadt, Germany), NTS-Cheapeake Testing Laboratory (Belkamp, USA).
Purpose:
Designed for individual protection of airborne troops and special units from injuries and wounds; placement of special equipment. Provides head protection when falling, hitting; from the effects of the blast wave, small debris, ricochets; from pistol bullets and other small arms bullets on the way out.
Protection standards:
● protection class 1-A, DSTU 8835: 2019;
● protection class IIIA, NIJ 0106.01;
● NATO STANAG 2920 debris protection (FSP = 1.102 g) is at 695.2 m/s (V50 rating).
