While the GEN M3 is optimized for the Colt AR15/M4 platform, the modified internal and external geometry also allows it to be used with a number of other weapons such as the HK® 416/MR556A1/M27 IAR, British SA-80, FN® SCAR~ MK 16/16S and others.
● PMAG 40 GEN M3 features a long-lasting stainless steel spring, four-way anti-tip safety, and constant curvature internal geometry for reliable feeding, plus simple tool-free disassembly for easy cleaning;
● A redesigned slide groove in the rear of the magazine provides more slide clearance, and a travel stop on the spine prevents over-insertion of the magazine on compatible weapons;
● Low-profile stiffeners and a new aggressive texture on the front and rear of the case provide reliable control of the GEN M3 in all conditions, and a pen marking matrix has been added to the bottom of the case for weapon identification;
● The easy-to-disassemble rail makes it easier to remove and move the magazine while providing improved drop protection, and is slightly thinner than before for better compatibility with tight double and triple magazine pouches;
● The included shock/dust cover can be used to minimize the ingress of debris and protect against potential damage to the upper receiver during storage and transportation;
● New generation polymer construction, resistant to impact and crushing;
● Self-lubricating guide that prevents tipping over for increased reliability;
● Limiter against excessive movement on the spine;
● Flared bottom panel makes it easy to move and disassemble magazines, but is slim enough to use with many double and triple pouches.
