The manufacturer mills and finishes the handles in-house to the strictest specifications, and each knife is assembled and sharpened by hand by highly trained technicians who utilize over thirty years of manufacturing excellence in a state-of-the-art factory in Oregon City, Oregon.
● Made of CPM-S30V (58-60HRC) stainless steel. The first steel of its kind developed specifically for use in knife blades. Excellent balance between edge retention, corrosion resistance and durability for a variety of applications;

Proper care and regular maintenance will help make your Benchmade knife yours for life. Here are a few tips to help keep your Benchmade knife in top condition:
● All steel, regardless of price or brand, can rust over time, so it's important to keep your knife dry and oiled. If stains or rust appear, they can often be taken care of with a semi-chrome metal polish.
● Dishwashers can cause serious damage that is not covered by our warranty, so be sure to hand wash Benchmade in warm water with dish soap only and dry thoroughly.
● Remember that knives are cutting tools, and you should never use a knife as a lockpick, screwdriver, chisel, or hammer unless it is specifically designed for that purpose.
● If you decide to sharpen the blade yourself, avoid grinding wheels and other powerful mechanisms.
● The screws of the handle, hinge, and pocket clip may need to be adjusted periodically using T6 and T10 Torx screwdrivers. We recommend applying a small amount of liquid thread locker as needed.
