Folding Knife Extrema Ratio BF3 Dark Talon | Black

The BF3 Dark Talon is a compact folding knife from the Italian brand Extrtema Ratio, with a black handle and blade treated with MIL-C-13924 black protective alloy and anti-glare qualities. Its main difference from most other models in the manufacturer's basic line of folding knives is its extended functionality. The Dark Talon has all the necessary features to be used both as an everyday knife and a tool for self-defense without being a cold steel weapon.
The knife is equipped with 12 cm blade, which is made of Austrian cobalt-alloyed steel Böhler N690, hardened to 58 on the Rockwell hardness scale. Thanks to it the blade keeps the sharpening perfectly and is also able to resist the cross loads up to 150 kilograms. The blade has the classic Drop Point and has an evenly smooth sharpening along the entire length of the cutting edge. At the same time, its sharp tip provides high stabbing efficiency.
As for the handle, Extreme has used a modern patented material called Anticorodal®, an aluminum alloy of the highest purity (98%), which is absolutely resistant to water and alkaline media as well as the ability to withstand extremely high shock and other mechanical loads. The handle is 15.3 cm long with deep underbelly notches for a secure grip in any situation.
