The DJ Manufacturing Corp Extreme Cold Weather Type N-3B parka is an iconic American parka built for warmth and durability. These jackets were made for the US Air Force by DJ Manufacturing Corp or Greenbrier Industries Inc. and, as the labels indicate, they are designed as "Extreme Cold Weather Type N-3B Parka", so you are buying authentic military clothing that should keep you warm and freezing in winter weather, along with other appropriate outerwear, of course.
Please note: the front zipper runs from the middle of the abdomen to the extreme edge of the fur hood lining and then across the neck, forming a tunnel "schnorkel" as shown in the photos. When this is done, the girth of the collar is limited to a minimum to form a snug fit. Therefore, please note that the maximum neck circumference of any user is about 17 inches (43 cm). Larger necks will make the product uncomfortable to fully close the zipper, making it impossible to use the hood properly.
