The backpack is from the Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment II (MOLLE II) system, which has been in service since 2001. The backpack has a separate external slit pocket for integration with hydration systems. MOLLE attachment points along the padded shoulder straps with quick-release buckles. Has had virtually no changes to its design since its first release, which is saying a lot.
● Total usable space is 32 liters, including a 25L main compartment and a 7L external pocket.
● In the inner main compartment there is a special pocket for a hydrator with a tube to the outside.
● There is also a pocket with a cushioning for the back.
● The outer pocket combines three separate pockets and can hold 3-4 MREs or a night vision device.
● Wide, adjustable sealed shoulder straps with army emergency release system.
● Adjustable waist belt and chest strap with fastex buckles.
● Hook-and-loop fastening system on the sides of the backpack.
● Features include YKK zippers and ITW Nexus buckles.
