Leather shoes are often subjected to heavy wear and tear on hikes and expeditions. However, with regular care, they will last for many years. The Grangers Leather Conditioner is designed to protect your shoes from dirt and moisture, which extends their shelf life.
The conditioner is also suitable for use on leather surfaces with a membrane coating, such as Gore-Tex shoes and eVent materials. The wax creates a water- and dirt-repellent surface on the shoe, while maintaining breathability.
The soft consistency makes the conditioner easier to dispense and apply than traditional waxes in cans.
● Protects against dirt and moisture, does not provide complete waterproofing;
● Suitable for Gore-Tex leather shoes;
● Not tested on animals;
● Supplied in recyclable packaging.
Application:
● Thoroughly clean the leather surface from dust and dirt and let it dry thoroughly;
● Optionally, polish the surface with a lint-free cloth or polishing brush;
● For best results, repeat the treatment 2-3 times, allowing the surface to dry properly between uses;
● If you want to improve the water resistance of your shoes, you can finish the treatment with Grangers Footwear Repel Spray (sold separately).
