Oakley Jawbreaker™ with Clear Iridium Photochromic lenses is a true breakthrough in sports optics, designed for those who live at high speed and cannot compromise on protection or comfort. This model was developed in collaboration with cycling legend Mark Cavendish, and since its debut in 2015, it has repeatedly proven its effectiveness at both the professional level and among thousands of amateur athletes.
The main concept of Jawbreaker™ is maximum ergonomics and versatility. The foundation of the model is the innovative O Matter™ frame in classic Polished Black. This lightweight, extremely durable material withstands intense training, various weather conditions, and falls without burdening the user, even during marathon rides or long missions.
Oakley paid special attention to details: the “tech hit” temples can be adjusted to any length and perfectly integrate with a cycling helmet. The Unobtainium® non-slip coating on the temples and nose pads ensures the glasses stay in place under extreme stress or rain. Ventilation holes in the lens area prevent fogging and maintain a comfortable microclimate for the eyes, allowing full focus on the road or track.
Photochromic lenses (Clear to Black Iridium) are ideal for changing light conditions. During mountain tours, long road rides, or intense runs, they automatically adjust their tint: light transmission changes from 23% (bright sunlight) to 69% (dusk or overcast). You get exceptional vertical and peripheral vision without blinding glare, optical clarity, and eye protection from fatigue thanks to HDO™ (High Definition Optics).
PLUTONITE® is another technological advantage of Jawbreaker™. All lenses are made from this material, providing full protection from UVA, UVB, UVC, and harmful blue light up to 400 nm. Impact resistance testing ensures your eyes remain protected even in extreme road or cross-country situations.
